The building
that houses the Heyde Center for the Arts was constructed
in 1907. It is a Neo-Classical Architectural Design
and is listed on both the National and State Register
of Historic Places. After being in an abandoned state
over many years, the structure has undergone a complete
restoration and was reopened and rededicated in 2000.
Sitting on a hilltop overlooking the city of Chippewa
Falls, the Center is used for the Arts, be it art shows,
theatre, music, and dance. The Center is also used for
large meetings, weddings, reunions, etc.

The Northern Wisconsin Fair-over 104 years of fun in
the Chippewa Valley. Last year over 70,000 people attended
this wonderful fair. Exhibits include livestock, crafts,
homemaking, education and outstanding 4-H displays.
There is over a mile of carnival rides great food stands
and other attractions. The FREE GRANDSTAND always consist
of top name stars.Facility rental, reunions, rallys, picnics, etc. Camping, Winter storage.

The Eau Claire Regional
Arts Center has been in existence since 1982 when a
coalition of artists and friends of the arts came together
to create a place that would nurture the arts through
performances, classes and exhibitions.

Since 1978, The Fanny Hill Dinner Theatre has brought
the fun and magic to live theatre to over 850,000 guests.

| Christmas
Village The
day after Thanksgiving Irvine Park takes on a whole
new look. It is literally illuminated with over 45,000
Christmas lights. Irvine Park then becomes the Christmas
Village. There is also an impressive display of life-size
Christmas scenes reminiscent of the Victorian era and
local historical replicas. The Christmas Village is
visited by literally thousands of people from many States.
The
Christmas Village is supported by donations and volunteers.
It is another example of the pride the citizens of Chippewa
Falls show in their Community.

Christian Family Music Fest

at the third annual Christian Family Music Fest.
This event will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Fairgrounds on Jefferson Avenue.

Bridge
To Wonderland Parade
 The
first Saturday of December you won't see baskets lining
the streets, but you will see hundreds of people lining
up to see the Annual Christmas Parade. There's a glorious
site of about 50 floats lit up and playing Christmas
music.

The Past Passed Here
May 7-10, 2008
The second weekend in May, also known as "The Past Passed Here," provides an all around historic experience located downtown Chippewa Falls. This event includes everything from 1800s style food, historic re-enactments, walking tours and horse-drawn wagon rides. Shop in the unique specialty shops and browse the historic displays. This four-day event, just north of Cadott, brings the best of country music to the Chippewa Valley! The outdoor amphitheater is equipped with an outstanding sound system, giant screens, and 8,000 campsites walking distance to the concert area. In the past, Country Fest has had performers such as: Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Dixie Chicks, Alan Jackson.
Rock Fest
July 17-20, 2008
This four-day event, just north of Cadott, brings the best of rock music to the Chippewa Valley! The outdoor amphitheater is equipped with an outstanding sound system, giant screens, and 8,000 campsites walking distance to the concert area. Showers, security, medical services and convenience stores will be available for all campers. Inside the concert area, great food and souvenirs will be for sale. General admission and VIP seats are available. A VIP pass includes: up-front seating, great meals, beverages, and parking. In the past, Rock Fest has had performers such as:
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Boston, Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty.
