| Ambassadors
A group of 30 dedicated individuals help promote the Chamber
by welcoming new businesses to the area, participating in
ground breaking and ribbon cuttings ceremonies and recruiting
new members. If you would like to join the Ambassadors please
contact the Chamber. They meet on the third Wednesday of the
month at 7:30 a.m. at various locations. It is a great way
to network and meet new business leaders.
Annual Meeting
A luncheon meeting is held in January to reflect on past accomplishments
and discuss the Chamber’s priorities for the upcoming
year. Over 250 business people attend this meeting.
Business After Hours
Hosted by various members of the Chamber, this event provides
an excellent networking opportunity for our members. Sponsorship
is also available.
Business `n Breakfast
This quarterly program educates members on the community’s
“hot topics”. It also brings you up to speed on
what is happening at the Chamber and is another networking
opportunity. Sponsorship available.
Business Referrals
Last year the Chamber office verbally referred members over
32,000 times. The referrals were given to people that either
called or stopped at the Visitor’s Center. This number
does not include the large volume of visitor and relocation
packets sent to prospects or the Chamber’s website visits.

Chamber members.
Chippewa Falls Visitor Guide
More than 25,000 of these guides are distributed each year.
All Chamber tourism businesses and attractions are listed
in the Chippewa Falls Area Visitor Guide. Advertising opportunities
are available at a low cost. These guides are distributed
at the Visitor Center, sent in all relocation and visitor
packets, and put in welcome bags. They are also sent to all
WI Tourism Information Centers.
Certificate of Origin
As a member, the Chamber provides legal certification of documents
required for exporting products to foreign countries. Please
call ahead.
Committees
Members are always welcome and encouraged to get involved
in the vast array of Chamber committees and activities. The
benefits to you are great when you become an active part of
the Chamber and help shape the future.
Coupons
The Chamber produces quarterly coupon pages to put in the
Welcome bags. They are also put in all visitor packets and
distributed at the Visitors Center. All Chamber members may
submit a coupon at no charge.
Display Area
Members may display their literature at the Chamber office.
With over 10,000 walk- ins to the Visitors Center it is another
great opportunity to promote your business.
Excellence in Education
This program recognizes the top 5% of the graduating seniors
from Chippewa Falls Senior High and McDonell Central High.
More than 250 business and education leaders join the students
and their parents.
Gift Certificates
The Chamber partnered with Certifichecks, Inc. to promote members by offering gift certificates. These gift certificates can be redeemed at all Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce members.
June Dairy Day’s Dinner
This community sponsored dinner is held annually in recognition
of the farm community’s impact on our local economy.
More than 3100 business and farm leaders participate in this
event.
Leadership Chippewa Falls
This program is designed to give participants a greater knowledge
of the inner-workings of the community and ways they can become
involved. Starts in September and runs through May, meeting
the first Thursday of each month. It consists of 8 sessions
and is limited to 20 participants.
Mailing Labels
The Chamber’s Membership list is available for purchase
in label format and used only by members. This can give you
member to member support and direct access to a prime audience
of business prospects. The small mailing list is available
for $40 and includes each members main representative (over
400). The large mailing list is $60 and has each member and
all their representatives (over 800). Contact us about direct
piece mailings.
Membership Directory
This directory is printed once a year and lists over 500 Chamber
Members. This valuable tool is used as a guide for Chamber
staff and other businesses when giving references. It has
members in alphabetical order, by category and a who’s
who section. It is distributed to all members, is sent in
all relocation and visitor packets and is available in member
hotel/motel rooms.
Member Showcase
A display case on the wall in the Visitor Center is seen by
a large volume of visitors and business people. Members may
promote their business in our display case for a monthly charge
of $100.
Newsletter
The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber Newsletter is printed monthly
with important business news and events. Members are welcomed
to submit information about their business, awards, expansions,
events, and new employees for the Member News section. The
Chamber offers all members a chance to insert their business
flyer in the newsletter. It is a great way to advertise your
business or an upcoming event to area business people. Supply
the Chamber with 925 copies of your businesses insert for
our newsletter. Cost is $100.00 for a 8 X 11 ½ flyer
and must be received by the Chamber the last day of the month
for the next newsletter.
Oktoberfest
This annual event brings in thousands of tourists and has
a economic impact of $750,000 to the community. It is also
a great fundraiser for non-profit organizations. Committee
involvement to help plan this annual celebration is always
welcomed.
Relocation Packets and Prospect List
The Chamber receives a large quantity of requests by phone
and e-mail for relocation information. When we send them a
packet we customize it for the prospect. Upon request a monthly
relocation prospect list is available to our members.
Restaurant Menu Binder
Thousands of visitors stop by the Center and ask about restaurants.
As a Chamber member all restaurants or bar & grills can
have their menu displayed in our restaurant binder for the
visitors to view.
Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening Ceremonies
The Chamber will help with preparations for these events.
We will send invites to our V.I.P. lists, contact speakers,
make agendas, supply the scissors and ribbon and have representation
by our Ambassadors.
Tourism Planning
This sector of the Chamber promotes Chippewa Falls as well
as Chippewa County as a Tourist Destination for the benefit
of the area. The Chamber provides a Visitor Center that services
visitors and guides them to members’ businesses. Committee
involvement to help plan tourism related activities and programs
is always welcomed.
Web-Site
More and more people are planning vacation and business trips
through the internet. Last year the Chamber’s website
had 160,079 visits. All members are listed in the business
directory section of our site and hyper-linked free. A “Members
Only Section” gives members the opportunity to read
the newsletter online, sign up for upcoming events and utilize
the member to member support. Banner advertising is available
for a small fee.
Welcome Bags
Each year thousands of welcome bags were given to groups meeting
in the area. To promote their business Members can put a coupon
or promotional item in them at no cost.
Young Professionals of the
Chippewa Valley
The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up with the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Program. The Mission on the Young Professionals is to engage and empower young professionals through community, professional and social opportunities.
