Members are always welcome and encouraged to get involved
in the various Chamber committees and events.
- Tourism Planning
- This committee will develop and coordinate comprehensive
tourism development program for the community.
- Public Affairs -
Works with State and Local Officials on issues critical
to our Business Members.
- Excellence in Education
- This is the Chambers annual recognition of the top
5% of high school seniors. The Committee plans the
annual banquet and coordinates sponsorships for the
event.
- June Dairy Days -
This committee plans an annual event which
recognizes the business community’s appreciation
for the farm community. They meet as needed, Feb.
through June.
- Ambassadors - This
group promotes the Chamber by hosting groundbreaking
and ribbon cuttings. They also recruit new members
and work
to retain current members. Meets monthly, 7:30 a.m.,
third Wednesday. Limited to 30 people.
- Industrial Committee
- The Industrial Committee conducts our annual wage
& benefit
survey.
- Leadership Chippewa Falls
- Program participants will have a greater knowledge
of the interworkings of the community and ways they
can become involved.
- Small Business -
This committee is dedicated to helping the small businesses.
Development of programs and services that may not
be available to them because of their size.
- Workforce - This
group works throughout the year to address the employment
needs of Chippewa Valley businesses.
- Business Sponsor Volunteer
- Businesses Sponsor a Saturday or Sunday at the Visitor
Center. This includes manning the center for a day.
- Board of Directors
- Each year the nomination committee of the Chamber
reviews candidates to fill vacant seats. Terms on
the Board are 3 years.
