The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 100th
Anniversary. In 1911, an industrious group of men essential to the City's
progress formed the Progressive League. Now over 100 years later, that
organization continues and has evolved from The Progressive League to the
Chippewa Falls Commercial Association in 1919 into what is today the
Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.
Today the Chamber continues the work that was started in 1911 by using the
collective resources of our 550 members to accomplish the things a single
business cannot do on its own. Recruiting new businesses to the area,
attracting tourists and making sure we have a quality workforce allows our
community to create jobs, expand the tax base and improve financial
prosperity for the area.
