Chippewa Falls is the County seat of Chippewa County, with a population of
over 60,000. Chippewa Falls has over 13,000 residents that benefit from a

Currently Chippewa Falls is moving toward a new look. The Riverfront Development is a five-step urban redevelopment plan that includes a riverfront park, bike and pedestrian trails, new business and residential districts, and a festive atmosphere that would make Chippewa Falls a regional destination and local amenity. The current construction on River Street will remove the lagoon west of the Visitors Center and incorporating it into a park with a possible amphitheater. The idea behind the park is to reconnect Chippewa Falls with Duncan Creek and the Chippewa River, and utilize an area that has been neglected for generations.
