SNOWSHOE TRAILS

 

Ice Age Trail:
Experience the serenity of snowshoeing in the Wisconsin wilderness with the help of outfitters at the Chippewa Moraine Interpretive Center. Thirty-seven miles of trail are available for use seven days a week. Snowshoes are available. For more information call (715) 967-2800.

Irvine Park:
This is a two-mile gently rolling trail. The trail is located in the city of Chippewa Falls on Hwy 124 North. Enjoy the beauty of this park while showshoeing. Trails are available next to the cross-country ski trails. For more information call the Chippewa Falls Parks & Recreation at (715) 723-0051.

Lake Wissota State Park:
Located on Cty Hwy O, the park offers snowshoeing throughout the park, but should not be done on any of the trails. State Park sticker required.

Brunet Island State Park:
Located in Cornell just off of Hwy 64 and 27 the State Park State Park sticker required.

Public Forest Land:
Outdoor enthusiasts will find more than 33,000 acres of public land available for use. Enjoy hunting, hiking, camping, snowmobiling, sight seeing and many other activities on these public lands. The scenic beauty of our county parks and forests is an invitation to enjoy nature at its best.
