Royal Credit Union's Jennifer McHugh Selected to Participate in National NCUA Vision250 Roundtable Series

Royal Credit Union's Jennifer McHugh, Vice President of Community Engagement, was selected to participate in the National Credit Union Administration's (NCUA) Vision250 Roundtable Series, a national forum focused on financial well-being, financial literacy, regulation, and the future of the credit union movement.

Hosted by the NCUA as part of its America250 commemorative activities, the three-part event convened representatives from credit unions, trade organizations, and credit union service organizations to explore ideas and initiatives that will help shape the future of the industry. 

McHugh was selected to contribute her expertise in community engagement, advocacy, and financial literacy. In addition to her role at Royal, she serves on the Wisconsin Governor's Council on Financial Literacy and Capability and the Wisconsin Credit Union League Government Affairs Committee.

"It was an honor to participate alongside leaders from across the country who are passionate about improving financial well-being," said McHugh. "The conversations highlighted new opportunities to strengthen financial literacy and expand access to the tools and resources people need to achieve their goals. I appreciated the opportunity to share insights from Wisconsin and Minnesota while bringing back ideas that can help us better serve our Membership."

The roundtable discussions explored emerging opportunities and challenges facing consumers while examining how the credit union movement can continue to evolve to meet changing needs.
