Crescent Meats has made the decision to hang up our knives and quit slaughtering after nearly 23 years of butchering. It is a difficult but welcome decision as we pursue the lucrative side of snack stick production and co-manufacturing with other businesses. This allows us to ramp up our production of the shelf-stable products like snack sticks, summer sausage, and steak strips. We still have our retail store and are still providing fresh cuts of meat and the sausages people love. This gives us the extra time to even bring back a few fan favorites, such as the marinated chicken breasts, and the chorizo.
Coming soon, we will be launching our own in-house brand of all natural, grass-fed beef sticks. We have been handing out samples since the beginning of the year and we have gotten some great feedback. We can't wait to share them with the world soon!

Our biggest piece of news happened last week. After prepping for the better part of the year, we experienced an audit and are now SQF- Certified! SQF stands for Safe Quality Food. This qualification follows a set of very strict guidelines that are designed to keep the food we produce and send out as safe for the consumer as possible. Reaching these higher standards opened new doors for us, allowing us to reach even more customers. We plan to keep striving for higher safety and quality in the products we make.
