Citizens State Bank's Food Drive Makes a Meaningful Impact During WBA Power of Community Week

Cadott, WI – Citizens State Bank is proud to announce the resounding success of its food drive, held during the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) Power of Community Week, April 21–25, 2025. This initiative was part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community connections and supporting local families during National Community Banking Month.

Designed to address a critical need, the food drive saw enthusiastic participation from across our six communities and eight branch locations. In total, 269 food items and $1,530 in monetary donations were contributed to local food pantries, helping provide essential supplies to individuals and families in need.

A Celebration of Community Giving

“We are honored to serve the Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Lake Wissota, Cornell, Stanley, Stratford, and Prentice communities,” said Nicole Kauphusman, Executive Vice President of Citizens State Bank. “Power of Community Week gives us an opportunity to reflect on and appreciate these great places where we live and work. We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity of our employees and community members.”

Throughout the week, Citizens State Bank collected and donated items in the following communities:

  • Cadott: 112 food items and $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
  • Chippewa Falls: 53 food items and $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
  • Cornell: 12 food items and $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
  • Stanley: 82 food items and $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
  • Stratford: $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
  • Prentice: 10 food items and $255 in employee-contributed charity funds
