Royal Credit Union Announces New Executive Vice President - Chief Retail and Digital Services Officer

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) has named Andy Swope Executive Vice President - Chief Retail and Digital Services Officer. In his new role, Swope will oversee the integration of digital services, retail operations, product innovation, and payment solutions ensuring a cohesive, forward-thinking approach that aligns with Royal’s core purpose 

“Andy’s expertise will be instrumental in guiding how we create a positive impact—both digitally and in-office,” said Brandon Riechers, Royal President and CEO. “We are excited to welcome Andy’s leadership as we continue evolving to meet the needs of our Members.” 

Swope brings over 20 years of experience across the financial services and consumer industries, with a proven track record in digital strategy, product management, and technology initiatives. Prior to joining Royal, he served as Vice President of Digital Platforms and Strategic Execution Lead at U.S. Bank, where he led transformative digital initiatives focused on enhancing engagement.

Swope holds a Mini MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a master’s degree in banking from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
