40th Annual Excellence in Education Banquet
This year marks the 40th year the Chamber has hosted the annual Excellence in Education Banquet, honoring the top 5% of graduating seniors from McDonell Central Catholic High School and Chippewa Falls Area High School. This year, 21 students and their chosen influential educators were recognized. Thank you to our member businesses who support this long-standing event that often comes full circle for many attendees.

Leadership Chippewa Falls
As part of the Chamber's Leadership Chippewa Falls program, this year's class attended their last session, then wrapped up the program with a recognition banquet!

Media & Volunteer Opportunities
For this month's session, participants gathered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley in Chippewa Falls to hear from a panel of local Media professionals. The panel shared the history of their business/organization, their process for sharing news, and challenges they currently face. From there, participants rotated through various stations hearing from local non-profit organizations regarding volunteer opportunities here in our community and how our next generation of leaders can get involved.

Finishing up the last program session, group projects were presented that they have been working on for the past 9 months. Check out our Chamber Connection Story: 2024-2025 Leadership Chippewa Falls Community Projects to learn more about these projects!

Recognition Banquet
Our 2024-25 Leadership Chippewa Falls program wrapped up with a recognition banquet, highlighting each participant as well as this year's group projects! We can't wait to see where these individuals go as our next generation of leaders. Thank you to sponsoring businesses for allowing these professionals to take time away from work to learn, grow, and make impacts throughout our community.

Schools2Skills - Agriculture
This month, our Schools2Skills program took middle school students into the field of Agriculture, learning about local career opportunities right here in our community. The day started at AMPI where students learned the process of how cheese is made and distributed. Next, the group headed to Rooney Grain where they weighed in as a group on the truck scale, saw various farming equipment, and learned about grain storage and movement and careers that support these efforts. From there the group visited Rooney Angus Ranch and Ranch Brand Meat Co. where they viewed animals being raised, and learned how fresh products impact our local food supply and how they market locally. Last stop was Chi-Hi Ag Department learning about class options and how that prepares them for future careers in Agriculture!
