Bernard F. Willi Outdoor Pool to Open for the Season & Host Grand Opening Party on June 6

The Bernard F. Willi Outdoor Pool in Chippewa Falls is set to open for the 2026 summer season on Saturday, June 6. The outdoor pool season will kick off with a community celebration at the Grand Opening Pool Party, featuring free admission all day and an afternoon of family-friendly activities.
The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley manages the Bernard F. Willi Outdoor Pool in partnership with the Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department, working tog ether to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun summer recreation experience for the community.
The Grand Opening Pool Party will feature a variety of activities from noon–3 p.m., including y ard games, a slip-n-slide, water gun activities, music, and complimentary freezies for attendees. The outdoor pool will remain open for free public swimming from NOON–7 PM, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the facility even after the organized activities conclude.
“This event is a great opportunity for families and community members to come together, celebrate the start of summer, and enjoy one of Chippewa Falls’ favorite seasonal amenities,” said Michelle Stolt, Chippewa Falls YMCA Aquatics Director.

The Bernard F. Willi Outdoor Pool offers something for everyone this summer, including open swim, lap swim, Tot Time for young children in the zero-entry shallow area, Aqua Dance water fitness classes for ages 12 and older, private lessons, and swim lessons throughout the season. 
Season pool passes are available for purchase at the Chippewa Falls YMCA front desk and at the outdoor pool beginning June 6.
