Community Foundation of Chippewa County Supports CRI, Inc. with Donation

CRI, Inc. is grateful to announce a generous $2,000 donation from the Community Foundation of Chippewa County to support the development of a “calm room” within its Facility-Based Beyond Limits Day Services program.

Through this Community Needs grant, the calm room will provide a relaxing, sensory-friendly space designed to support individuals who benefit from a reduced-stimulation environment. This space will help participants regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and re-engage in programming in a safe and supportive way.

“We are incredibly thankful for the Community Foundation’s investment in our Beyond Limits Day Services program,” said Dave Lemanski, CRI, Inc. CEO. “This specialized room will make a meaningful difference for the individuals we serve by offering a space that promotes comfort, and emotional well-being.”

The Beyond Limits Day Services program supports adults with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities by offering structured activities that foster independence, social connection, and personal growth. Enhancements like the calm room ensure CRI, Inc. can continue meeting the diverse needs of its participants.
