CVTC-specific achievements
At Chippewa Valley Technical College, that growing confidence is reflected in rising enrollment. CVTC has seen enrollment increase in recent years, signaling strong community trust in the College’s ability to prepare students for in-demand careers across the Chippewa Valley and surrounding regions.

CVTC continues to expand and adapt its program offerings to meet regional workforce needs, launching and enhancing programs in areas such as IT and cybersecurity, aesthetician and massage therapy, and a myriad of healthcare-related programs. All College programs are developed in close collaboration with local employers to ensure graduates are job-ready on day one.

“Wisconsin’s technical colleges play a vital role in strengthening our communities, and CVTC is proud to be part of that impact,” said CVTC President Sunem Beaton-Garcia. “By listening to employers, supporting our students, and responding to regional priorities, we’re helping build a strong, sustainable workforce in west-central Wisconsin.”

Beaton-Garcia is pleased that the survey highlights affordability, transfer opportunities and strong recommendations from others as key drivers of WTCS’s positive reputation.

“Residents overwhelmingly associate technical colleges with real-world value, job outcomes and affordability,” she said.

CVTC remains committed to expanding access, strengthening partnerships with employers and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. Together, we will continue to build a workforce that powers Wisconsin’s future.
