Gov. Evers Proclaims Blain's Farm & Fleet Day Across Wisconsin

Janesville, WI—Blain’s Farm & Fleet is proud to announce that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has officially proclaimed September 17, 2025, as Blain’s Farm & Fleet Day in recognition of the company’s 70 years of service to families and communities.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet began in 1955, when brothers Bert and Claude Blain opened the first store in Janesville, Wisconsin. Over the past seven decades, the retailer has grown from a single storefront to 45 stores across four Midwestern states, serving millions of customers annually. Blain’s remains family-owned and headquartered in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Today, Blain’s is known as a trusted destination for tools, automotive parts and service, pet care, home essentials, clothing and footwear, outdoor sporting goods and its beloved seasonal Toyland tradition.

The official proclamation also highlighted Blain’s enduring commitment to community causes, from supporting 4-H and FFA to hosting pet adoption events, leading the Bert Blain Memorial Heart Walk, and partnering with numerous local charities in the communities it serves.

“We’re honored that the State of Wisconsin has recognized Blain’s Farm & Fleet with an official proclamation,” said Kristin Stewart, Blain’s Chief Customer and Marketing Officer.

It’s a meaningful way to celebrate this milestone year, and it reminds us how deeply connected we are to the neighbors we serve.

A highlight of the celebration is the Birdhouse Build-Along Workshop, held Saturday, September 13, at all 45 Blain’s Farm & Fleet locations:
