Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative Awarded Large Grant to Help New Hospital
The Eau Claire Community Foundation awarded Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative with a $250,000 grant to support the new hospital in Chippewa Falls. This money will help the interim hospital purchase essential equipment and technology.

This news comes as part of many developments with the new hospital, including a new Cancer Center, a partnership as the Chippewa County morgue, and a new executive board being named for the hospital. These additions demonstrate the Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative's commitment to the Chippewa Valley, providing healthcare services in the wake up our hospital closures.

The Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative is currently holding an interim hospital in the former St. Joseph's Hospital building while they construct a new hospital set to open in 2028.
