Randy was recently the featured member of the WSSCA with these words "With over three decades of experience across private industry and educational institutions, I have consistently integrated safety and security into my professional responsibilities.

From my early career in the supercomputer manufacturing sector—where I earned certifications in industrial electricity, refrigeration, and power engineering—to my leadership in Facilities Management across Wisconsin's Technical College and K-12 school systems, I've focused on infrastructure, security systems, and asset protection.

My involvement with WSSCA and the Office of School Safety has been central to my continued professional development, recently culminating in the completion of the School Safety Coordinators Certification. My dedication to school safety has been shaped and strengthened by the wealth of resources, education, and training these organizations provide.

At Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District, I have led numerous successful safety initiatives, including securing $487,000 in OSS grants, designing secure entrances for all facilities, and automating emergency alert systems.

I've implemented comprehensive training in trauma-informed care, standardized emergency response protocols, and facilitated the adoption of Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO). I'm proud to see these efforts reflected in strong community feedback, particularly from parents and caregivers who consistently rate our facilities as safe and well-maintained. A strong safety culture requires collective responsibility."
