Mid-season Crop & Pest Management Field Day – June 27 in Chippewa Falls

Farmers, ag professionals, and anyone interested in crop and pest management are invited to the Mid-season Crop & Pest Management Field Day, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chippewa County Research Plots, 15985 75th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI.

This field day will feature timely updates and hands-on observations from local Extension and research experts. Topics include:

  • Observation of alfalfa inter-seeded with corn silage (established in 2023 & 2025)
  • Pest management scouting for weeds, insects, and diseases
  • Forage inventory planning
  • An update on the Farm Pulse grain marketing program
  • A walk-through of the oats and barley variety trial plots

This is a great opportunity to hear from Extension specialists and learn what’s happening in the fields this season. No registration is required.
