Wisconsin Competitiveness Report Offers Insight to Local Business Leaders

Chippewa Falls, WI (May 18, 2026) - Business leaders across the region are invited to attend a timely and high-impact event featuring Kurt Bauer, President & CEO of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), as he presents the Wisconsin Competitiveness Report, a data-driven roadmap focused on strengthening the state’s economic future.

“It’s important to create this opportunity for our businesses to engage directly with the state Chamber, Wisconsin Manufacturing & Commerce, and the issues shaping Wisconsin’s economic future,” said Allyson Wisniewski, President of the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. “These discussions help business leaders stay informed, exchange ideas, and work collectively toward efforts that support business growth in the Chippewa Valley and the state.”

During the session, Bauer will break down the key findings of the report, outlining what is holding Wisconsin back and why it matters to local businesses. Informed by statewide business insights and comprehensive data, the report offers valuable guidance for leaders looking to influence policy and drive progress.

This event is open to members of the Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, and Menomonie Area Chambers of Commerce and offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow professionals. Participation helps position members as leaders in advancing regional economic development.
