Get on the Water: New Kayak Rentals Arrive at Lake Hallie

A new outdoor recreation opportunity has arrived at Lake Hallie just in time to soak in the summer season. Self-service kayak rentals are now available at the Lake Hallie Boat Launch, located at 13136 30th Ave, Chippewa Falls. These rentals offer residents and visitors a convenient and accessible way to get out on the water.

The rental station features a mix of single and tandem kayaks, providing options for individuals, families, and groups. Life jackets are available on-site to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.

“This new amenity reflects our commitment to making Lake Hallie a vibrant and welcoming place to live,” said Anastasia Stueber, Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer for the Village of Lake Hallie. “The rentals create more opportunities for residents to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the natural beauty right here in our community.”

This addition is expected to attract not only residents but also visitors who are exploring the area. Conveniently located near Lake Hallie Golf Course and River Jams restaurant, the launch site serves as a hub for a full day of outdoor recreation and entertainment.

“Experiences like this are what make a visit truly memorable,” said Ellie Peabody, Tourism Director with GO Chippewa County. “Our region is known for its natural beauty, and additions like this make it even more accessible while expanding the outdoor recreation options available to both visitors and residents.”

The addition of kayak and paddleboard rentals continues to build on the area’s outdoor recreation offerings, encouraging more people to experience Lake Hallie and the surrounding communities in an active and engaging way.
