Women to Women Luncheon - Embracing the Journey
In April, we hosted our annual Women to Women Luncheon, focused on Embracing the Journey. Women professionals networked over a wonderful lunch, then hard from the panel of speakers below who shared their stories, career paths, and tips for attendees to embrace the journey through work and life.

The Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, comprised of the Chippewa Chamber, Eau Claire Chamber, and Menomonie Chamber, traveled with members to Madison for the 31st Annual Chippewa Valley Rally. This year's record number of attendees from a variety of industries met with state legislators to bring a collective voice on regional and state economic priorities. Topics included healthcare, education, talent attraction & retention, economic development, taxes, and transportation & infrastructure. In addition, legislators were thanked for previous priorities enacted, supporting our area residents and businesses.
Leadership Chippewa Falls - Infrastructure
This month's Leadership Chippewa Falls session focused on Infrastructure! Participants gathered at Chippewa Valley Regional Airport to learn about air transportation and the history of the airport, followed by a tour of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services. From there, groups toured the airport tower and Mayo One, learning about the essential services they provide. Next, City of Chippewa Falls Public Works presented on the services provided to residents, impacts of their efforts, and how residents can help in those efforts. The day finished out with a visit to Xcel Energy - Lake Wissota Hydro Dam, learning about daily operations of this unique infrastructure in our community. Thank you to this session's speakers and leaders for coordinating these invaluable experiences for our Leadership Chippewa Falls program!
Schools2Skills
As part of the Chamber's Schools2Skills program for career exploration, we hosted two sessions this month!
Transportation & Energy
This session took middle school students to CVTC's Energy Education Center to learn about careers in energy and transportation, then headed to SolarShare's Chippewa Sun Project learning about the impacts of solar and ended at Rands Trucking in Chippewa Falls.

Business & Marketing
CFAUSD students visited CVTC's Business Education Center learning about a variery of program and careers offered right here in the Chippewa Valley. From there, students visited Rooney Printing to learn about marketing and printing and how they support businesses in our community, then ended they day at Chi-Hi's Business Department.
Coffee & Commerce
April Coffee & Commerce was sponsored by Citizens State Bank, and brought a large turnout of members for coffee and conversations! Thank you to HB Apartment for hosting our group this month!
Business After Hours
Toycen Ford hosted this month's Business After Hours, co-sponsored by Eau Claire Express and Garage Force. With a tasty taco bar and some amazing door prizes, members made some great connections and heard about Toycen's story, Eau Claire Express' upcoming season, and the products that Garage Force offers - not to mention a first-hand look at Toycen's new floor, recently done by Garage Force!
