Chippewa Valley Healthy Water Summit to Educate Community on Local Water Quality

March 20, 2026 – The UW–Madison Division of Extension is hosting the Chippewa Valley Healthy Water Summit, a one‑day educational event designed to increase water quality awareness by providing local information that enables community members to make informed decisions.

The summit will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at Chippewa Valley Technical College’s West Campus, with CVTC serving as the facilities host. Sessions will be held in the Energy Education Center, Room EEC 103, located at 4000 Campus Road, Eau Claire, WI 54703.

Open to the public, the Chippewa Valley Healthy Water Summit is relevant to homeowners, landowners, farmers, agency staff, and industries. The event will feature locally relevant information and expert‑led sessions on key water‑related topics, including PFAS, soil and water interactions, local water testing and services, and conserving soil, water, and nutrients.

The cost to attend is $20, and advance registration is required. Please register by March 9th.
