Security Financial Bank to Build New Corporate Office in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE – Security Financial Bank (SFB) is proud to announce plans for the construction of new administrative offices in Eau Claire, marking a major investment in the Chippewa Valley and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the region.

“As SFB continues to grow, it is important that we create a corporate office that reflects who we are as an organization and where we are headed,” said Mark Oldenberg, president & CEO of Security Financial Bank. “This new facility will provide modern spaces that foster collaboration and innovation, while also reaffirming our commitment to Eau Claire and the communities we serve.”

Conveniently located off the Highway 53 Bypass, the new offices will be located at 1610 Princeton Crossing in Eau Claire. The 25,000 square-foot building is expected to include a bank branch (subject to regulatory approval) as well as modern workspaces, meeting areas, and room to accommodate future growth. Eau Claire contractor Market & Johnson is scheduled to begin construction early next year with completion expected in Spring 2027.

Founded in 1934 in Durand, SFB has proudly served families, businesses, and farmers across western Wisconsin for more than 90 years. SFB expanded and opened a branch in Eau Claire in 2009 and then moved its corporate offices from Durand to Eau Claire in 2017. Less than a decade later, the community bank has more than doubled in size to $1 billion in assets and has outgrown its current location at 4813 Keystone Crossing in Eau Claire.

"We’re excited to expand our presence with this new branch inside our corporate office. This location not only strengthens our commitment to serving the north side of the city, but it also allows us to provide more convenient access for our customers in neighboring communities like Altoona and Chippewa Falls,” Oldenberg said. “Our goal has always been to make banking easier and more personal, and this new branch helps us do just that—meeting people where they are and continuing to invest in the growth of our communities."

In addition to the new branch, SFB will continue to serve customers at its existing Eau Claire branch at 4217 Southtowne Drive, as well as in Alma Center, Black River Falls, Bloomer, Durand, Ladysmith, and River Falls.

“With this investment, SFB looks forward to continuing its 90-year tradition of supporting families, businesses, and farmers across western Wisconsin for generations to come,” Oldenberg said.
