Prevail Bank Announces Retirement of Mortgage Loan Originator, Jenny Ebert

Prevail Bank announces the upcoming retirement of Jenny Ebert, Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS# 523594), who will conclude her career on June 30, 2026, after more than three decades in the mortgage lending industry. An open house in her honor will be held June 18 from 3–6 p.m. at the Prevail Bank Eau Claire branch.

Ebert joined Prevail Bank in February 2021, bringing with her decades of experience and a deep commitment to serving her customers. Her career began in 1980 in a real estate office and then transitioned to a Realtor role before becoming a mortgage loan originator in 1990. She remained dedicated to that role up to retirement.

A graduate of UW–Eau Claire with a degree in biology, Ebert credits her success not to formal training in banking, but to hands-on experience and a passion for helping others achieve homeownership.

“My biggest takeaway from my time at Prevail Bank is the ultimate importance of good customer service,” said Ebert.

Throughout her career, Ebert built lasting relationships with her clients, often assisting multiple generations of the same families. She found fulfillment in helping first-time homebuyers, guiding clients through refinancing, and supporting customers during important life transitions.

“Most of my customers have become my friends as we travel through life together,” she said. “I’ve watched young couples grow their families and later helped their children purchase homes of their own.”

“Jenny’s dedication to her customers and her community has made a lasting impact,” said Nathan Quinnell, CEO/President of Prevail Bank. “Her ability to build lifelong relationships and guide generations of families through the homebuying process truly reflects the values we strive to uphold. We are grateful for the expertise and care she brought to our team and wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement.”

Colleagues and clients alike will remember Ebert for her dedication, personal approach, and the trust she built over many years in the community.

As she looks ahead to retirement, Ebert says she will miss her customers and coworkers most—but not the early morning alarm clock. She plans to spend her time exploring Wisconsin, taking small trips, and visiting antique shops.

Prevail Bank thanks Jenny Ebert for her years of service and wishes her all the best in her retirement.
