Chippewa County Farmer Appreciation Dinner Celebrates 56 Years
Chippewa Falls, WI (June 1, 2026) – The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate local agriculture at the 56th Annual Farmer Appreciation Dinner, taking place Wednesday, June 24, from 4 to 8 pm at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

This long-standing community tradition brings together farmers, agribusinesses, agritourism partners, local businesses, and residents for an evening dedicated to recognizing the vital role agriculture plays in Chippewa County’s economy and way of life. Farm families are honored and receive complimentary meals, sponsored by local businesses, as a token of appreciation for their hard work and contributions.

“This year marks the 56th annual celebration of the farmers in Chippewa County and all they do for our community,” said Angela Kapp, Programs and Partnership Director with the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. “This dinner is a heartfelt way for our farming and business communities to come together, say thank you, and honor the farmers who help sustain our local food system. Through the generosity of more than 50 businesses sponsoring meals, this event continues a special tradition of showing appreciation for the hardworking farmers who play such an important role in our community and our local economy.”

Open to the public, the event features a classic farm-style charcoal chicken dinner complete with all the fixings, including Wisconsin milk, cheese, ice cream, and root beer floats made with custard. Attendees can also enjoy live music from Six Figure Sunrise in the beer garden, along with a variety of children’s activities, making it a fun-filled evening for the entire family.
The Chamber encourages community members to attend, show their support for local agriculture, and enjoy a night of great food, music, and connection.
