Polish Delegates Visit Chippewa Valley

We were delighted to welcome an energetic group of Polish mayors and a deputy mayor to the Chippewa Valley, thanks to the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) and the Open World program! During their stay, the Chippewa Falls Rotary Club was thrilled to serve as their primary community host.

As part of their experience, our guests had the opportunity to tour and talk with more than 20 Chamber member businesses throughout the Chippewa Falls area. In total, over 40 meetings allowed them to see firsthand the innovation, collaboration, and spirit that drive our local economic growth. Their itinerary also included discussions with local leaders on best practices for economic development and meaningful dialogues in cities like Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, and Eau Claire. Plus, they connected with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, legislators, local industries, and educational partners like Chippewa Valley Technical College and UW-Eau Claire.

Programs like Open World have brought together more than 31,000 emerging leaders worldwide, helping build bridges and lasting friendships. By sharing meals, conversations, and business tours, these exchanges promote understanding and inspire positive change everywhere.

We’re proud of Chippewa Falls Rotary—a global network of 1.4 million people— member Mark Broses who led the efforts to participate by submitting an application for this program. Rotary’s people of action believe in making lasting change, from promoting peace and supporting education to growing local economies and protecting our environment. Our clubs stand united to create a better world.

It’s truly an honor to partner with COIL, Rotary, and our local businesses and community to host these guests and showcase the best of the Chippewa Valley. Thanks to everyone for helping us make meaningful connections and lasting memories!
