Northern Wisconsin State Fair Association Announces Hiring of Carrie Andringa as Event Manager

The Northern Wisconsin State Fair Association is proud to announce the hiring of Carrie Andringa as its new Event Manager.
Carrie is an experienced event and program professional with more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. She brings a strong passion for creating welcoming, well-organized, and engaging experiences that bring people together. Known for her attention to detail and collaborative approach, Carrie is committed to ensuring that every event runs smoothly so attendees can simply enjoy the moment.
“We are thrilled to welcome Carrie to our team,” said Brian Maki, Executive Director of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Association. “Her depth of experience, enthusiasm for community engagement, and dedication to excellence will be a tremendous asset to our organization and the events we host throughout the year.”
A lifelong resident of Chippewa Falls, Carrie has deep roots in the community and a personal connection to the fairgrounds. Having attended events there throughout her life—as a child, young adult, parent, and community member—she brings a unique perspective and passion to her new role.
“I’m honored to join the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Association,” said Andringa. “I have so many great memories at the fairgrounds, and I’m excited to help create new experiences where families and community members of all ages can come together and make lasting memories of their own.”
Outside of her professional work, Carrie enjoys camping in the Northwoods, participating in team trivia, supporting Chippewa Falls music programs, volunteering
with Girl Scouts, and spending time with her husband, Steven, and their three daughters, Lucy, Molly, and Penny.
In her role as Event Manager, Carrie will oversee the planning and execution of events held at the fairgrounds, helping to further the Association’s mission of providing high-quality entertainment and community experiences.
