Construction Update: Closure of WIS 312 Ramps to and from US 53 Coming August 1

The ramp from WIS 312 (North Crossing) to northbound US 53 and ramp from southbound US 53 to WIS 312 in Eau Claire County will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 to 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4.

These closures are weather dependent, and traffic will be detoured via the US 53/Melby Street interchange.

• Detour for WIS 312 off-ramp to northbound US 53: Head west on WIS 312, north on Business 53 (Hastings Way) and east on Melby and enter northbound US 53 using the interchange ramp.
• Detour for southbound US 53 off-ramp to WIS 312: Exit at the Melby interchange and head west on Melby, south on Business 53 and east on WIS 312.

The ramp closures are the result of a pavement improvement project on US 53 from Golf Road in Eau Claire to 40^th Avenue in Lake Hallie.
