Local Students Explore Career Pathways Through Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Schools2Skills™ Program

Chippewa Falls, WI (May 13, 2026) - The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating another successful year of its Schools2Skills™ program, connecting students with real-world career opportunities across the Chippewa Valley.

Schools2Skills™ provides students with the chance to explore and better understand the wide range of careers available in the community, helping to align local talent with the workforce needs of area employers. Students gain insight into career paths, salaries, and the education required to succeed in today’s workforce.

Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, students participated in a series of immersive career tours highlighting key industries that drive the local economy. Each of the tour days included an education component and focused on a specific industry including Manufacturing, Healthcare, Business, Hospitality, Emergency Services, Transportation and Energy, and Agriculture. Participants visited Chamber member businesses, asked questions, and gained hands-on insight into a variety of career paths.

“These students are the future of our local workforce,” said Mandy Nunes, Workforce Development Director with the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber. “As a Chamber, it is important to connect students with meaningful, hands-on experiences that provide a clear view of the diverse career paths right here in our community.”

The Schools2Skills program continues to play a vital role in workforce development by fostering early awareness and engagement, ensuring that students are better prepared to pursue meaningful careers close to home.
